I want to thank you for being a part of my Christian Blog; Scripture on fire and for your support and love! What an incredible year 2011 has been! This year saw a lot of good and bad things. But am glad we are here today to see the end of another year. To God be the Glory
On the 11th day of January 2011, there was Flooding and mudslides in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro that killed 903.
On the 11th day of March 2011, a 9.1-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami hit the east of Japan, killing 15,840 and leaving another 3,926 missing.
On 28th day of April 2011.The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton took place at Westminster Abbey in London.
On May Day 1St day of May 2011, the U.S. President Barack Obama announces that Osama bin Laden, the founder and leader of the militant group Al-Qaeda, has been killed during an American military operation in Pakistan.
On the morning of the 25th day of December 2011, Christmas Day, a Islamic militant group Boko Haram bombed St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, Niger State, outside the Nigerian capital; at least 35 people were killed. The second bomb went off at the Mountain of Fire Ministries church in Jos, northeast of the capital, with little impact, only damaging the fence and about three vehicles parked close to it. This is the third failed attempt to bomb the church; Mountain of Fire Ministries church.
You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being. I thank you for all that happened in 2011 and the way You kept us of harm’s way.
My prayer is that we can finish this year like no year before, stronger than ever. And may the year 2012 be better than this year, may our God work His signs and wonders in our lives, our family and our society. In 2012, May all the countries of the world that has been suppressing Christian teaching and values under any disguise have a change of mind or shamed.
In just a few hours, a brand-new year will be upon us, I want to encourage you to believe that God will pour out His incredible favor and power like never before. A new year brings new hope, new blessing and new opportunities. So get ready! No matter what others have told you, no matter how they made you feel, listen to what God is saying found in Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 139:17-18
